VacTran file types
VacTran is organized into models, libraries, and viewers.
Models
A model is a representation of a vacuum system or a component of a system.
System model: A complete vacuum system, with gas loads, piping, and pumps
Pump model: Speed vs. pressure data representing a pump
Raw data gas load: Gas load vs. time data representing a complete gas evolution from a material over time
Raw data conductance: Conductance vs. pressure data
Series conductance Model A group of conductance elements connected in series
Parallel conductance model A group of conductance elements connected in
parallel Pump Station One or more pumps connected with a series of conductance elements
Gas Model: A data representation of specific gas properties

Libraries
A library is a data file containing a list of gas load or geometry reference information that is used when building a system model.
Permeation library: Archive of common permeation material data
Out Gas library: Archive of common out gas material data
Pipe library: Archive of standard pipe sizes
O-Ring library: Archive of common o-ring dimensions
