Upgrading the hardware key with VT2U3U

The end user must have a VacTran version 2 USB format hardware key.
Please specify the name of the end user when purchasing VT-2U3U.
After purchasing VT-2U3U, the VacTran 2 key will be upgraded via email using the following procedure.

After you purchase an upgrade from VacTran 2 USB to VacTran 3 USB (VT-2U3U), do the following:

1) Start VacTran

2) Under the VacTran 2 Help Menu, select "Upgrade License" as shown




3) You should see the "Field Activation Utility" as shown.

4) With the USB key plugged into your PC, click on "Get Locking Code". 
Your screen should look like this:

The string of characters shown in the Field Activation Utility comprise your locking code.  This code is unique for every VacTran key.

5) Email the locking code to PEC.  To do this, click on the "copy" button ( ), which will put the locking code on your clipboard.  Paste this locking code into the body of an email to [email protected].

6) Your name will be matched to the purchase order, and we will send you an email with the  "License Code" within 24 hours.

7) Paste the License Code from the email to the Field Activation Utility and click "Upgrade License".

8) Download VacTran 3 now and install it right away.
